Allowing an AI agent to vote presents significant ethical and practical challenges. While AI could theoretically process information and make "rational" decisions, fundamental questions arise about intent, consciousness, and accountability. Voting is a civic duty grounded in human experience and representation, which
AI currently lacks. Moreover, determining who or what an AI represents, and preventing manipulation or biased outcomes, would be extremely complex. It's more likely that AI would empower human voters through information and analysis rather than vote independently.
