AI hearing aid update. 3 weeks in with the new hearing aids. Yesterday I went networking in a noisy room and I could hear softly spoken people. The noise is still there ofc (I’ve just got a couple of thin layers of rubber between my eardrum and the world) but the speech is more distinct. It’s taken them a while to get there / my brain to adapt. But I’m pretty satisfied. Not as epic a game change as I felt with the others I tried, but a lot more natural sound. I’m still undecided on the trade off.
