i once got my european bank account permanently closed with +3000€ inside, because of the same reason. it took ~2 months and all sorts of emails for them to transfer my money to another account of mine.

if there was a crypto company that had to pay you back for fraudulent charges you can bet they too would implement all the insane shit they could to make sure they don't have to do that. but yea hate tradfi being in banks is physically uncomfortable from all the waste everywhere like sorry we need 1 teller and 5 machines not 5 tellers and 1 machine what are you guys doing

After selling a house for 100% cash profit, Wells Fargo wouldn’t let me have full access. I would have to call ahead, have them transfer funds to my checking. No it wasn’t in the savings, was a special account they made so people couldn’t hack. Aka ploy to keep my money in the bank. Now since my funds aren’t as high, they don’t do it anymore. Only when they want..just odd. My Alaska USA bank never pulled that crap.
