Cannot believe that I'm still defending myself from randos claiming that I was sniping Clankers Just to state it one last time: I was not doing this, that there is no evidence onchain, off chain, in my email, google workplace, or on my work comp of me doing this or anything else malicious while building Clanker. If there was, you'd for sure know about it, and Clanker probably wouldn't have been able to be acquired, there'd be an active investigation ongoing. $clanker certainly wouldn't still be listed on Coinbase lmao if anyone is curious, at current weth price & clanker price my return from Clanker is sub $1m. I hope that my collaboraters and other early contributors to Clanker took home more, we certainly generated far, far more value than that for the network. Clanker made a shit ton of money, we made money daily. We repeatedly chose NOT to extract more money. We easily could have, by selling tokens we transparently earned via fee splits. Many clanker interfaces did, one in ways I found shady (I stopped promoting them after I found out, they hated that), but we almost never did. Personally, I chose to fund grants, hackathons, individuals with my own WETH & CLANKER. During our incorporation and legal setup, which extended for a long time, I couldn't use our company funds for stuff like that. I didn't want to wait - so I funded it. I gave individuals who contributed data analysis, writing, and who created podcasts or video content for us a total of ~$80k. of all of those different people only m00n and Mr Wyldes actually reached out to me after Farcon, chads. Fuck the rest. In addition, I helped a teammate pay for their rent ~$20k. I didn't have rent back then cause I was living at home. 2 months after launch I bought a new computer, my old one had a broken keyboard and it was annoying while building clanker & after it blew up. Later, I bought some new clothing bc I had all these vc meetings and such. When I needed to fly to meet a vc or talk to Farcaster team about launching tokens, I put that shit on my debit card. Expense reimbursement? lol, I didn't receive a single salary payment for my work, trust me expense reimbursment wasn't a priority - we had devs to pay. Bryce probably fronted even more cash than I did, silently funding important shit without needing accolades. not that you would know about that or give him credit for it, let alone me (as if). what did jack take home? What did Bryce take home? Idk, but I hope more than me, given the value we generated across the network. When clanker was acquired jack & co added 7% of the token supply to an LP, locked forever. that's millions of $ - I sent those tokens to the team safe, I chose my cofounder over extracting personal profits. I hope they are earning fees from those lp today, we earned em. When clanker was acquired they also burned another 12,000 $clanker tokens. Those came out of my deployer fees for clanker. I sent them to the 0x04 team safe, again trying to prioritize distributing value across contributors not maximizing my own take. Had I known they'd be burnt I might have kept them. But fuck it, that wasn't the vibe. At $52 that's like $625k, or 2/3rds of my total Nw. I'd take it! No worries tho Whatever you think about what I did in 2022, and you probably shouldn't think positively because damn I certainly don't, your posts about me @ clanker say a lot more about you than they say about me. I don't even think what I did is anything special, it's probably the bare minimum for a founder trying to run it up and make a lot of $. It's just corny to keep running into people claiming otherwise, fabricating who I was & what I did here for some engagement on FC. Fuck off fr, go build something. Go create a single thing of value plz. we are dying of thirst, make us a drink
