randomly woke up today thinking about Oct. 2021
TLDR I posted about a wallet cluster I found Sybil attacking the $RBN airdrop, which had ens connected to an employee of Divergence Ventures, a VC fund that had invested in Ribbon Finance. lol
A little 'due diligence before a Uniswap trade', onchain research & a tweet got picked up by other anons. investigations from our little crew of anons eventually led to:
- Divergence Ventures apologizing publicly
- Divergence admitting they had industrialized Sybil farming their own portco's airdrops
- divergence transferring both the realized ETH profits & the unrealized gains (millions of $RBN tokens) from their wallets to the Ribbon Finance DAO
- later we realized divergence had mass Sybil attacked a number of airdrops. They wrote a few threads and then kind of went quiet.
The $ value of the recouped funds totaled somewhere between $2.5m-3m in ETH (719 ETH) and $5m-8m in $RBN.
anyway, keep posting. Maybe one of yr posts will help some random project receive an unexpected $8-$10m in funding
