This is one of the hardest topics for founders: more data vs. stronger privacy. There’s no absolute right answer. It really depends on what your product values most. For social apps, tracking user activity can help build better recommendation algorithms, but at the same time, it can conflict with user privacy. From a user’s perspective, it’s actually great that Farcaster and Quorum sit on different sides of this spectrum, because it gives people a choice.
