C of O (Certificate of Occupancy) – Strongest proof of ownership ✅
R of O (Right of Occupancy) – Also recognized, especially in developing areas
Gazette – Shows the land is officially released by the government
Survey Plan – Describes the land’s boundaries and coordinates
🚫 Beware of “family land” or “agent papers” only — they’re not enough proof of ownership.
