my clothes are covering 80% of my queen sized bed rn. why is putting away laundry so fucking difficult??? i cant wait to be rich so i can hire someone to do just this one thing for me i.e. put away folded laundry. until then, pls send me whatever hack you’ve got to make this shit easier. 🥲

I have a chair that gets piled with clothes. It’s called laundry chair and it’s my greatest enemy/hardest task lol. I suggest you get a chair so it doesn’t cover the bed. Or like do the laundry regularly I guess (we both know that isn’t gonna happen for us tho)

i feel you. for me, it got better by having a drying rack in places that would make me way more annoyed than thinking how difficult it is to put the laundry away. at this very moment, it's in the living room, but other places also do the job (bedroom included). this is the one we have (ikea):

My hack is to put it on a chair and forget about it 😂 until there’s too many shit and it stresses me out so I put it in the cabinet or my bf fold them or hang them after washing and put them directly in my cabinet so I can sort it out when I have the mental capacity to do it 😂

If you don’t like folding use hangers.. chore time can be cut in a lot. For me folding is me time.. but partner doesn’t. He even hang them in hanger for drying so it directly goes to cupboard ;)

I keep one drawer in the cupboard where I dump all the washed clothes before folding. And then I will fold them if I have time, or else I will just pick up from that drawer and wear

only advice I give you is two-parts: 1) understand that an optimus environment is ultimately good for you 2) take every manual labor as an opportunity to like... meditate lol, I even do it while washing the dishes - turns boring stuff into shinny opportunities good luck (:
