recently i’ve noticed some level of discomfort in watching anything without subtitles even though i don’t really need them to understand the content im watching (usually english, sometimes hindi or gujarati) and today, i come across this tweet on reddit. lol. unsure if true but it would answer why it is so uncomfy to watch anything without subtitles. my guess would’ve been that my brain isn’t stimulated enough and needs more info to process at any given point otherwise i get bored/thing i’m doing isn’t challenging enough.
