It can even be considered a form of gambling. If your entire balance comes down to $3, it’s probably better not to participate, because there are no promises or guarantees here.
The main purpose of distributing this $300 — which comes directly from the NFT mints of the app itself — is to give it back to the community and the users. It’s meant as a fun experiment, a chance element for a few lucky people, and a small way of giving back and saying thank you.
Of course, I truly wished the mini app would be far more successful and that the collection would fully sell out, but unfortunately only a limited number of people supported it. I’ve always been curious about the reasons behind that — but that’s a discussion for another time.
