Base Token by June 2026? I Said YES!
I’m going with YES on the “Will Base launch a token by June 30, 2026?” market on @polymarket
Here’s my thinking:
👉🏻 On September 15, 2025, Jesse Pollak (Base founder) said Base is exploring the launch of a native network token.
👉🏻 Then in early October 2025, Coinbase’s Base team also opened a new role for a Token & Governance Research Specialist.
👉🏻 And yesterday, Base posted that the $BASE token isn’t live yet, and they’re still exploring it.
So yeah, this is still not confirmed, but personally I don’t think it will take too long from here. In my view, it could easily happen within the next 6 months, so I’m going with YES in this market.
