It’s OK to be concerned about $ZEC's supply — at this stage, we can’t know whether the bug was exploited or not. But we have that dilemma precisely because Zcash is open source. Think about fiat. It’s impossible to know what’s going on in the banking system.

MEXC is the worst crypto exchange I’ve ever used. You can’t export transaction history older than 540 days. I think this is illegal in Europe.
