If you ever wondered if you can obtain gas estimations for txs that consume more than the block gas limit, the answer is yes. But: - You need Tenderly's `tenderly_estimateGas` - There's a 10s execution timeout I shared my findings on StackExchange: https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/q/172051/24693
I still think MetaMask's UX was much better 2 years ago. They made it worse now.
