In my neighborhood there is a idli shop called kunigal tatte idli. They make only 3 items : idli, pulav rice and vada. Good taste and mad rush. The owner lives in our society and we know him well. 6 years into business, he now makes ₹2,00,000 in profits monthly.
Around 40% of his investments is in gold as he kept buying gold biscuits from the cash flow. Rest are in bank FDs and 1 SIP of ₹50,000 in HDFC Flexi cap.
He's around 50 now and was asking if any changes are to be made in his investments. I told him it's near perfect considering his financial and family situation 🙂
Just suggested him to take a comprehensive health and life cover, ensure nominees are added and that family is aware of all his holdings.
Nevertheless, told him to continue making nice delicious idlis and vada 😉
