📍 Lake Powell, summer 2025
i broke my streak of weekly posts so will be sharing some throwbacks until i get back on it. missing the ☀️ with these darker nights so here’s a summer adventure highlight
barely scratched the surface of this expansive lake on the border of Utah / Arizona. you need multiple days to fully explore all the side canyons and we only had the boat for an afternoon.
it was stunning to see the combination of monument valley-like towering mesas and buttes next to sparkling water you could cool off in
the southwest USA has so much to offer and vegas is a great hub for wknd trips ☺️
curious if anyone else has done multiple days on the lake?
niche fun fact: this location is in range of the elusive “wave” lottery so you can stay here while attempting to get one of 20 individual day passes. i did not win one 🥲
