DAU of the top 3 social protocols:
OpenSocial: ~110k
Farcaster: ~65k
Lens: ~25k
The dispersion between narrative and users is interesting.
Farcaster and Lens dominate the conversation on here. But OpenSocial has 2x Farcaster and 4.5x Lens.
Why? Because OS is in Asia.
The only reason I know them is because I'm a tiny investor (
@realAllenNg
is an amazing builder) so I get updates.
Asia has such a vibrant crypto community. Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc... they all have very unique and very large communities.
But I've noticed US crypto media (Blockworks included) rarely covers these founders and companies and communities.
Excited to spend time in Asia later this month.
I think there's a big opportunity to help bridge this East x West media/narrative/awareness gap.😀
