The document goes into why the alternatives currently don't fulfill the requirements, although all of them are promising and have a path to become the best option. This is just a reflection of their current state. Grateful to @earthfast for continued hosting of a mirror of /walletbeat; over time Walletbeat should aim to provide client-side integrity checking of frontend files, and they are still the best practical solution to provide this today. It remains a great option for frontends that critically need this feature in the present. QStorage on @quilibrium is a promising and more crypto-native alternative to IPFS (which has centralization issues despite being the de-facto standard for decentralized storage). The QStorage gateway/domain naming options are unfortunately not there today, but they would blow the IPFS+ENS stack out of the water in their final form. The wallet.page mirror will continue to exist, because why not.
