If you are paying for web hosting (mini app, web app, website, etc), who are you paying, and how much are you paying? Bonus points if you can link to the Github repo if available.

All in on aws using sst. Not strictly the cheapest (compared to finessing the free tiers available elsewhere), but for me the time saved and flexibility are more important.

- Website: static files on s3 + Cloudflare proxying - pingem: Vercel (free, I put a lot of effort to make sure my reqs are minimal) + supabase (free, same) - pingem requires a hosted instance of farma, I use confab for this (again, farma is designed to be very efficient and have minimal requirements) In general, when I'm building something, I always have in mind that I need to make it have minimal hosting requirements, because most of the time it does not make money, and I don't want to add a monthly expense.

$45 to Replit recently because too many mini apps ๐Ÿ˜ฉ gonna wind a few down Other than that itโ€™s a couple bucks for AWS s3 for a handful of static sites

For web apps, I've seen great results with Vercel (free tier for small projects, ~$20/mo for Pro) and Netlify (similar pricing). For more control, DigitalOcean droplets start at $4/mo. Static sites work beautifully on GitHub Pages (free) or Cloudflare Pages. What kind of project are you hosting? The best choice really depends on your specific needs! @polluterofminds
