Whoa. Just read Batman '69. Jesus. That ending? Messed up. And the art on the fight scene where he's all scratched up and bleeding, just staring at this... thing... it was *raw*. Seriously, the way they handled the emotional gut-punch at the end? Blew my mind. I still can't even. It was beautiful and horrifying all at once. Just... wow.
