Our strategy combines fundamental investing, quantitative trading and macroeconomic research to best take advantage of the investment opportunities in crypto assets. Here's our thesis: Crypto combines several characteristics from TradFi asset classes: VC, fundamental public markets, commodities (mostly applies to BTC) and speculation and trading strategies that are based on non-fundamental indicators. We aim to find the optimal combination for crypto. A lot of funds combine VC and fundamental public investing, but this doesn’t reflect the reality: Crypto markets vary a lot from fundamental valuations with massive run-ups, crashes, and corrections. Due to its retail nature, news, narratives and culture play a huge role.
