Ignoring early signs of sickness means your body is trying to warn you, but you act like nothing is wrong. The body normally gives small signals before a serious condition starts. When these warnings are ignored, the sickness grows silently until it becomes harder, more painful, or more expensive to treat. For example, small stomach discomfort can be the beginning of an ulcer. Light chest pain during stress may be an early sign of high blood pressure. Frequent headaches might mean dehydration, stress, or early malaria. When someone ignores these early signs, the sickness gets chance to worsen.
