I worked in a pizza joint as a kid. There was a sign in the kitchen that had a profound effect on me. It was simple, "clean as you go." As I get older, I realise, this is kind of the unlock for just about everything - clean as you go. Emotional and relational debt build up - clean as you go, clean as you go.
