If you had asked me this 3 months ago I'd say day and night difference. In the last few months Cursor's agent is equally good imo. At the same time, I think CC is way more versatile (I can simply spin up cc using a terminal and ask it to do some job in tmux). Generally I think CLI agents are still superior. Cursor however does beat cc for any frontend-related task (since you can use Gemini 3 + integrated browser)
