Just signed up for Blue Sky for the first time — feels super political in there (first post was an anti Tesla protest). Anyone willing to share tips on what to look for or follow to understand this platform more?

The usual reasons: energy consumption, agi, tech bros winning, art being plagiarized, layoffs etc

Wait, is AI not cool there? What’s the main issue people have with it?

Make a positive post about crypto or AI. They're really open minded over there 🙃

i deleted the app because of this. felt like my feed never changed even if i followed people that were interesting

Everything I’ve heard from people who have tried bluesky is people there are more defined about what they are against than what they are for, so the anti Tesla protest tracks 

I haven’t tried it yet

most of my feed is either in japanese or about japan lol

Look for follow lists for your interests. 

Eg I depoliticized my feed by following a bunch of AI researchers
