250,000 Tether Gold tokens backed by 7.66 tonnes of gold
Tether has announced that by the end of Q2 2025, approximately 250,000 Tether Gold (XAU₮) tokens are in circulation.
Each token is backed by one troy ounce of physical gold — totaling over 7.66 tonnes.
The tokens can be redeemed for actual gold bars stored in Swiss vaults.
