right now, farcaster’s main appeal is that it feels like a small, aligned corner of the internet: pro-crypto, pro-decentralization, etc but that feeling probably fades once the network reaches a certain size — so what becomes farcaster’s main draw then? personally, i don’t think mini apps or decentralization alone will be enough to convert the mainstream the monetization opportunities are definitely compelling — but is that enough? is money more important than reach for creators? is money more important than entertainment for consumers? maybe farcaster will need a new kind of differentiation once it crosses that threshold

I’m okay with owning our little piece of the internet. That’s enough for me to lean in, but most of my friends don’t care. I can bribe them to come with money, but it won’t replace their habits until there are clients that replace their current web2 habits and let them get some money too.
