Open source contribution in web3 development gives wider exposure to knowledge and skills you think you may not need. I got assigned to an issue recently for a discord bot app. Setting up wasn't too difficult although tricky.However, the challenge came when I couldn't locate the page I was to work on.

After creating a PR that required some reviews, the code maintainer had to ask if I had issues setting it up. I opened up about not locating the page and working blindly. I was guided to the page and I got the issue right at once.
