Zama is developing solutions using Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), which allows computations on encrypted data without needing to decrypt it.
FHE enables private handling of balances, transactions, or user states while maintaining onchain processing.
This offers confidentiality without sacrificing the ability to verify.
Zama has created open-source tools such as:
~ tfhe-rs for foundational cryptography
~ Concrete tailored for Python developers
~ FHEVM for secure smart contracts
I will explore each of these tools in detail in my upcoming posts.
