So I generally think of bandwidth and latency as being separate questions. I do think there's a discussion worth having in decreasing L1 slot times, though it needs to be done carefully, to avoid killing solo stakers and even geographically dispersed stakers.

Before anyone says "The UK/USA is worse!", that doesn't negate criticism towards another government. Also, I didn't see one response in the thread from people born and raised in the UAE. Just those who have temporarily or permanently moved there who the government caters to.
