Hi @yancey, and thank you for doing this. What makes you so confident we’re stepping into the “creative” age? I see the mainstream still up to their weekend at Bernie’s tricks, propping up dead franchises ad nauseam. I don’t see the masses demanding new or novel creations.. I love so much of what you’re saying these days but I struggle to see how it connects to the reality I face as a generally ignored creative on the daily.

Loved your TED talk on Artist Corporations, @yancey! I also found this recent podcast explainer super helpful. You've mentioned that for A-Corps to get started, laws will need to be passed at the state level, and the first law "could be passed next year in a specific state in 2026." Ive enjoyed the newsletters that I have perused from Metalabel - - with a background of crowdfunding do you see a future where artists can get funded in a way similar to kickstarter and patreon (ie tiers and rewards) and access to collectives like metalabel? I’d love to see a lot more crowdfunded media: im thinking - books, podcasts, “tv” shows, art series, giant sculptures, boardgames, video games, to name a few

I still have my Pebble even though it doesn’t charge anyone. So grateful that Kickstarter exists. Thanks for building something that turned dreams into reality and let every day folks fund the things we wanted to see in tne world. Q: Do you think crowdfunding and the tokenization of private companies (what Republic is building) is the next iteration of what you all started? Or is it a different beast entirely?
