My most woo-woo belief is that there is a very strong shared psychic undercurrent in any society. And right now, that shared consciousness is being heavily shifted towards a combative, PvP attitude due to the growing tensions within the U.S. election cycle. As with anything, it's possible to swim against the current, but it takes effort and recognizing that its there. This too shall pass.

What's a dataset that you could build to measure if this is true?

Exactly my woo-woo belief too. For my swimming analogy, I use rip tides. If you try to swim against a current, you'll die; sometimes you gotta just tread in place (or swim parallel to shore) until it's safe to swim to your destination https://warpcast.com/adrienne/0x10191499 https://x.com/age_shulman/status/1573665570507165697

i don't think this is in the woo territory tbh, it's the objective observable culture agree that it's possible to swim against and we should

I’m with you on this. Quantum entangled neurons, the zeitgeist (time ghost), alpha waves, etc. All attempts to explain this undercurrent. For something that so strongly governs reality, you’d think it would’ve moved past ‘woo-woo’.
