Several people have reached out asking for a copy of my FarCon talk. I wrote it down as an essay. You can read it here: https://www.philmohun.com/the-farcaster-flywheel/

Nice. The after party was dope btw, I was happy to find a quiet room in the back and a handful of us were chatting from like 9pm-1am. We came out and everyone was gone except a wild @tldr.

For me this was one of the other highlights of FarCon, alongside Fred’s much-talked-about fireside chat, so it’s no surprise that others feel the same!

great piece, lines up with my experience. graduation is the hardest part, it's easy to end up building something uniquely satisfying to the farcaster audience that then doesn't scale beyond it

Farcaster’s flywheel: Build early on tiny social networks to shape their growth. Stack crypto, Ethereum, and L2s for nonlinear scaling. Balance burn rate with network size, draft behind priorities, pass the toothbrush test, and plan to graduate. Distribution + retention = opportunity.
