Follow this link and scroll down to "Charges by service" It'll give you the charges by region. You can then open a separate tab and iterate through targeted service / region pairs to terminate resources 1 by 1 https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/billing/home?region=us-east-1#/bills

I never used AWS because it’s so scary to use. I don’t want to be bankrupt so fast lol

oh yikes, I literally have nightmares about this every time I build on aws or google. I'm always scared that somehow I have a stupid recursive loop or vulnerable system and i'm going to wake up thousands in debt 🤣 . Heres a little degen to help offset that cost 100 $DEGEN 🤣

I work at AWS and it always takes me at least 20 minutes to find what region I have test EC2 instances in as it is hidden mane pages deep in the billing report ui

Make sure you go through each region top right hand corner in your account. You probably set a test run up in West coast or something.

Had the same issue 5y ago. I claimed VISA to refund those amounts, they did it. Amazon later was chasing me for years with calls and emails, also banned my accs, but they ceased at the end. Fk them hard
