Thank you for starting this conversation about poetry. No, I don’t believe that poetry is dying because of AI. Poetry is one of the ancient art forms and it is therefore extremely resilient. I’d like to stress that no technology is a danger to poetry, and certainly not AI. We have experienced a renewal of poetry since poets invaded the blockchain without asking for permission and started to actively dialogue with photographers, filmmakers, sculptors, dancers. AI is a tool - one of many- at the disposal of a poet to assist him in his/her creative proces. Tomorrow, with future technologies not yet invented, poets of the future will still be experimenting.
