JACOB’s PORRIDGE. Written By :- PETERMIRACLE I C. Esau, she called me as she made mockery of my to-do-list. She said that “ a good chefs never write down their recipe for they guard it firmly in their hearts for that is the only weapon they possess. “ I asked her why she addressed me as the biblical character ‘’ Esau ‘’ she laughed so hard and went on saying that she only employed that for the purpose of sarcasm. Mabel said that ‘’ Jacob might have prepared the food but the porridge was always meant for Esau’s consumption. ‘’ I was confused with that statement for I wasn’t good with the play of words. Mabel said that sometimes we might loose that which others believe should be dear to us for earthly desires but maybe, just maybe those desires are what brings us the happiness of life. She said I should drop that pen and worry less about the list for they will write themselves as the story progresses.
