🇮🇸Iceland: «Breathing Normally» | 01
📸Introduction:
Iceland, a vast country with a sparse population, has only about 300,000 citizens. However, about 8 million people transit through Iceland every year. Against this backdrop, on the edge of Iceland's Reykjanes Peninsula, two women's lives briefly intersect, while being trapped in unforeseen circumstances. A struggling Icelandic mother and an asylum seeker from Guinea-Bissau, a West African country, will form a delicate bond as both develop strategies to get their lives back on track.
☃️Breathing Normally, this translation reminds me of a song by Leslie Cheung - «Heartbeat Breathing Normally», a very nice song, which makes people feel warm and a thin layer of sadness after listening to it, just like how this movie feels to me. This is a movie surrounded by warmth and love in the world.
Although the plot is indeed a bit flat, I personally feel that it is still very good. I recommend it to friends who like Nordic style and scenery! 0 reply
