The economy wasn't crumbling; it was quite the opposite. Last quarter of 2024 marked a healthy 2.3% growth, dipping to 0.3% in early 2025, influenced by Trump's decisions. It's odd to claim catastrophe when it didn't exist. If reducing debt and deficits is a real concern, supporting tax increases should be on the table.
