Google burns billions on data centers to run search. Tether just ran the full Wikipedia archive across 100 nodes with zero central server, and it stayed searchable live.
Not new either — this is Hypersearch, first disclosed back in April, built on HyperDHT. Sept 8 was a checkpoint, not a launch.
No public release date. No access outside their test net. But if this scales to thousands of nodes like promised, the real question isn't "can Tether build search" — it's why a stablecoin issuer wants to own search infra at all.
