openai just gave chatgpt a full memory of your workday and no im not okay with how normal this feels already
its called computer history, mac desktop app only. it watches clicks, typing, keyboard shortcuts, app switches through accessibility apis, then turns it into a timeline you can literally interrogate: "what was i doing before my last break" or "where's that doc i had open earlier"
notices you repeating the same grind and itll straight up offer to turn it into an automation. no screenshots, no mic, no screen recording, and you can exclude whatever apps you want, so its not fully big brother mode
but its pro/business/enterprise only and off by default, not some free-for-all rollout, and eu/uk/switzerland users are getting it later
replaces the old chronicle preview basically. feels like the "second brain" meme finally has actual teeth
