For anyone that’s a WOTC/MTG nerd the externship period I was there for was during this really insightful litigation that was ultimately settled. Obviously I can’t talk about specifics even with it being history, but it was a valuable time to learn quite literally almost everything in-house, from being counsel to dealing with outside council when litigation arises. (In-house attorneys themselves typically don’t rep. the companies in court, kind of like a lawyer going pro se- considered a bit of a faux pas most times.) I got distracted from packing and I’m reminiscing over my old WOTC journal pages now, lol. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2017/08/real-judge-no-you-dont-have-to-be-paid-as-a-magic-the-gathering-judge/
