Traumatic memories. (They confiscated my hoodie because it wasn’t a pullover so I was freezing both days!) Any other lawyers trudge through a February bar exam? lol

During my first bar exam (CA), the fire alarm went off mid morning of the multi-state. We were told to evacuate, but before anyone really did we were told we could return to the exam. During my second (VA), someone had a seizure the row in front of me and my table had to be moved so paramedics could carry him out.

I refuse to ever sit for another. This was a 3-day CA exam (2011) and for VA (2012), test takers are required to wear suits. Talk about traumatic. 😵💫

Oh no! I forgot all about the suit requirements then! I was thankful to at least be in comfortable jeans and a longsleeve shirt sans hoodie. Never again. I’m inactive currently but I have my 5 years so I can motion into a lot of places now fortunately or just grab a co-counsel if I end up dabbling back in practice. Probably just for pro bono lol
