π¬ Bybit CEO Ben Zhou said that the exchange carefully checks Russian customers and follows "very strict rules" to comply with sanctions. According to him, the Russian Federation and the CIS countries account for about 20% of the exchange's trading volumes. Now Bybit is seeking a license to operate in Georgia after obtaining a similar permit in Kazakhstan in May 2023. Europe is currently the largest market for Bybit - it accounts for about 30-35% of trading volumes. However, the exchange had to limit a number of products due to MiCA regulations.
