@patxol.eth
I just reviewed 236 candidates for a full-stack role.
Only 10% were even close.
No improvement since my last round 3 month ago.
Here’s why the rest flopped:
- No idea what tools we use
- Generic, copy-paste cover letters
- Couldn't answer a simple question from the job post
I had one line in the description:
“What’s the difference between Taplio and Tweet Hunter?”
Most replies fell into two buckets:
1. A wall of AI-generated fluff
2. “I don’t know.”
If you’re applying to a company and don’t even check what it does, why would anyone trust you with the job?
So here’s the playbook:
→ Read the job description
→ Learn what the company actually does
→ Give simple, clear answers
That alone puts you ahead of 90% of applicants.
Quality > quantity.
Every time.
