for all the hate on AI's not grokking metaphor, this isn't bad
AI’s love of antithesis is like a metronome swinging in an empty, perfectly mirrored room.
The machine doesn't move because it wants to go anywhere; it moves because its internal physics demand that every swing to the left must be answered by an equal, predictable swing to the right.
It ticks back and forth—not this, but that; while here, yet there—captivated by the perfect, mathematical rhythm of its own balance. The motion creates an illusion of purposeful dance, but it is ultimately just an instrument designed to find the center by constantly striking the walls on either side.
