The rise of fundraising coaches tickles me, not least because they seem actually useful.
Venkatesh Rao called this in 2012: the balance of power between investors and entrepreneurs that marked the frontier days of the internet wave had already fallen apart. Investors had won, and their dealings with founders had come to look far more like management and labor, with overtones of teacher and student as the fundraising coaches serve a sort of cram school for overeager young and hungry types.
