Why would I give my credit card number, email, and address to send a couple bucks? What is this, 2010?
If I had the dev skills and wanted to bring more writers from Substack, I would build a crypto version of Buy Me a Coffee for them that:
- creates a profile on Farcaster (thus, a wallet to receive tips via crypto)
- automatic membership to writer-relevant channels like /books
- send notifications when people include links to their articles in casts
- lists trending topics in Farcaster to encourage casting to promote their articles in relevant discourse
I’m looking forward to reading a reply telling me this already exists.
