Update: I asked my offline husband if he would do an AMA here about commercial aviation after The Rehearsal finale. He said, “What’s an AMA?” I explained AMAs to him. I also showed him the original cast below. He looked at the total likes on the cast and asked, “Why would I talk to 36 people on the Internet?” I think it would be best if I rehearse the AMA with him first before bringing him on here. Fortunately, my connect-a-desk just arrived in the mail today. Please reply here with any questions you would ask in a rehearsal of an AMA with a pilot.

last one for today. i’m in los angeles and fired up for the return of sonic-boom planes and flying cars over the next decade. goal is to get licensed early next decade, which local flight schools or cfi networks would you personally vouch for? do you coach new pilots yourself, and what habits (psychology and physiology) would you insist on for the journey? thank you and blessings!

airlines such as air france are shrinking economy cabins and expanding premium economy and business class. does that shift change anything operationally for pilots, or is it purely a cabin-crew and revenue decision? if you could rewrite one faa regulation tomorrow to make flying safer or pilots’ lives better, which rule would you tackle and why?
