sometimes the littlest things can make the biggest difference I have almost no counter space in the kitchen - what you see here is what I have to work with. Two of the upper wall cabinets had aprons/light valences installed that made what little working area I had feel cramped and claustrophobic. Spent 10 minutes removing them both this morning and the difference is tangible ✨ (didn’t record the first removal, it was the cabinet above the area I have my oil and vinegar bottles, so it’s even more important to have as much vertical space possible for tall, high frequency usage items!)

i only removed the bottom light valance, which are just boards that drop down from the bottom of upper cabinets so you can hide lighting fixtures underneath them! so it was just unscrewing some brackets but yes i do work with wood quite a bit! not recently, but i used to make my own furniture
