🚀 @Zama FHE Breakthrough: A Universal Privacy Layer for Blockchains By enabling smart contracts to compute on encrypted data, Zama separates verification from visibility letting you execute complex strategies on-chain without exposing your playbook. Zama’s latest update unveils its fully homomorphic encryption–based, cross-chain privacy layer, a design that could reshape blockchain infrastructure. FHE allows computations on encrypted data, a concept first introduced by Craig Gentry in 2009. Over the past five years, the Zama team has improved FHE performance by 100x, making it practical for real blockchain use. Instead of launching a new L1 or L2, the Zama protocol integrates directly into existing chains, removing the need for complicated bridging and improving user experience. Zama combines FHE, MPC, and ZK proofs to maximize privacy and scalability. According to the roadmap, the mainnet is planned for Q4 2025, with expansion to other EVM-compatible chains in early @zama #ZamaCreatorProgram
