With all this talk about tokenizing content and the state of music NFT’s, it’s really got me thinking about what we are trying to achieve, and I think there is 3 main things: - Monetarily giving back to your favorite creators - Super fan status, “I was there” - Speculation/profit There’s a ton of technical overlap here, but there could be very different UX for each of these. I think tokenizing content is really interesting, but I also would like to see us focus more on tipping culture. I’d more often prefer to tip someone USDC or ETH over collecting a post.

What are some good places for on chain music these days? Been working on an EDM project for a while, mostly dubstep, and would like to release something onchain but sadly @sound-xyz is in maintenance mode.

Looks like I’ll be checking my app everyday to see if I get the update. 👀

I’m seeing Porter for the third time in October. Both previous shows were one of my all time favorite concerts, and I expect the SMILE :D tour to be no different.

Their breaking changes have usually been pretty breaking, but it’s mostly around the config and setup. Multiple times I have battled with just reinitializing Storybook and copying the story files back over trying to upgrade dependencies and fix all the little things. I’m hoping they are getting better about this.

The whole NoSQL trend was really kicking off when I got my first dev job and I felt like I was missing something because relational DB's/SQL just seemed so much better in almost every use case. 10 years later I look back on that and appreciate that I had good intuition even as a newbie.
